Upcoming Mid-Atlantic Chapter Meeting – October 26-28, 2019

 

About the Event

This year’s Chapter Meeting will explore new and innovative retail strategies and products. For example, 33% of the American population suffers from a sensory-related disorder or disability.  How do we as museum stores serve this untapped population through our customer service, our products and retail environments?

This and other key topics will be presented and discussed by experts in the field and your colleagues in the retail world. Join us for a weekend that will inspire and grow your expertise and expand your retail sales.

 

Preliminary Schedule

  • Saturday, October 26: Tours at The Walters Art Museum followed by a Networking Reception in the Museum’s Store and Café after the museum closes to the public.
  • Sunday, October 27: Full day of educational sessions at Hotel Indigo, Silent Auction, and Vendor Sponsor Recognition
  • Monday, October 28: Final education session and the Chapter Business Meeting

From Hotel Indigo, located one block from The Walters Art Museum, we received an awesome rate of $179/night for Saturday and Sunday October 26th & 27th.


Located in downtown Baltimore, it is within convenient walking distance to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Lexington Market, Historic Camden Yards and more!  Self-parking is available across the street from the hotel at rate of $5/day weekends and $13/day weekdays.


Please note: room rate is guaranteed when booking both Saturday and Sunday nights. All other hotel bookings are subject to regular available hotel rooms, rates and fees.

Registration fee for the FULL Chapter Meeting is $95.00.
Registration fee for SUNDAY ONLY is $75.00.
Both Registration fees include a Sunday Boxed Lunch!
