DEAI Committee

Purpose: The purpose of the DEAI Committee is to ensure that MSA maintains a focus on Diversity, Equity, Accessibility & Inclusion throughout all of its activities and operations.  DEAI Committee members will be charged with recognizing new opportunities or the potential for improvement in the areas of DEAI within MSA committee activities.

Education Advisory Group(EAG)

Purpose: The EAG is responsible for identifying and implementing creative, appealing, and useful educational programs, webinars, and sessions for MSA members, as well as recognizing individuals and institutions for excellence in their work.

Marketing and Communications Committee(MarCom)

Purpose: The MarCom Committee sets the vision for and strategically manages the overall marketing and communications direction of MSA in alignment with MSA’s strategic plan.

Membership Committee

Purpose: MSA’s membership is our most valuable asset. The Membership Committee maximizes our membership by welcoming, engaging, retaining and growing MSA membership.

MSA FORWARD Conference Committee

Purpose: The Conference Committee oversees the design, management, and execution of MSA’s annual conference and expo.

MSA NGL Committee - NEXTGen Leadership

Purpose: The MSA NEXTGen Leadership Committee develops, engages, and educates emerging museum store professionals by creating educational and professional development content, mentorships, and events that appeal and are relevant to this subset of the Museum Store Association.

Museum Store Sunday Committee(MSS)

Purpose: The MSS Committee oversees MSA’s signature advocacy initiative, Museum Store Sunday, taking place annually on the Sunday of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
